Public benefit programme
Free access, for the people who need it most.
This is the part of the charter that costs us money. It is also the reason the company exists in the form it does.
The offer
Two paths in, depending on your situation.
Full-time government and nonprofit employees, and veterans and military spouses, register directly for free online courses at learning.sd-agile.com. Several other named populations access the same training through a partnering organisation instead — no separate form on this site, either way.
Apply directly at registration
Full-time employees of federal, state, and local government agencies, and of non-denominational 501(c)(3) organisations, plus veterans and military spouses. No purchase order, no procurement cycle, and no separate application here — eligibility is confirmed when you register.
Through a partnering organisation
We partner directly with nonprofits, government agencies, and schools that already serve these communities, rather than asking each person to prove a sensitive situation on a public form. If your organisation serves one of the groups below, reach us at [email protected].
- People experiencing unemployment, underemployment, or homelessness
- Justice-involved individuals
- Youth ageing out of foster care
- People with disabilities
- Students at Title I schools
Who pays
Somebody has to pay. It isn't you.
Being straight about who does pay is the only way the free part stays credible.
Free
Full-time government and nonprofit employees, and veterans and military spouses, take the online courses free, and their certification is heavily discounted. Government agencies and qualifying nonprofits also get the SaaS community version of the platform free. People facing unemployment, underemployment, or homelessness, and justice-involved individuals, foster youth, people with disabilities, and Title I students reached through a partnering organisation, get the same waivers — for tuition and for the certification fee.
Paid
Government contractors, systems integrators, and commercial organisations. Preferred rates are available, but only through the SD-Agile Partner Program — not for being a contractor.
Paid by everyone
A sovereign instance — the Azure Marketplace image or the cloud-neutral download — is licensed and paid for by everyone, including government and nonprofits. Free covers our cloud, not your cloud.
The part that isn't free
Training is free. Certification is not.
It would be easy to leave this off a page about free access. We would rather you heard it here than found out at the end of a course.
Everything above is about training — the courses, the material, the six languages. Earning the credential is charged separately, and that fee is a large part of what pays for the free side.
The fee moves with your situation the same way tuition does: waivers for the partner-routed populations above, heavy discounts for government and nonprofit employees and for veterans and military spouses, and bulk pricing for organisations certifying a team. You access it the same way you access the training — directly when you register, or through your partner organisation.
How to apply
How each path actually works.
There is no separate eligibility form on this site, for either path.
Path 1 — direct. Create an account at learning.sd-agile.com. The registration flow asks what kind of organisation you are with, or whether you're a veteran or military spouse. Eligibility is confirmed there, not here.
Path 2 — through a partner. If you're an individual in one of the partner-routed populations, the fastest way in is through an organisation already serving you — a reentry programme, a foster-care transition agency, a vocational rehabilitation office, a Title I school, or a local workforce or homelessness-services provider. If you don't know of one, or you run one of these organisations and want to partner with us directly, write to [email protected].
For organisations
Free platform access, on our cloud.
The offers above are about courses. There is also a longer-standing programme for qualifying organisations, and it has one important boundary.
Qualifying government agencies and 501(c)(3) organizations get free access to the SaaS community version of the SD-Agile Platform, plus the methodology resources — particularly organisations working in public health and social services, employment and career services, and veteran support.
The boundary: that covers our cloud, not yours. If you need a sovereign instance running inside your own environment, that is licensed and paid for by everyone. Organisations must also operate under a non-partisan, non-religious, and non-violent mission consistent with the benefit company charter.

Registering takes about two minutes, and browsing the catalogue does not require an account at all.
